This program is designed for the junior golf who has been in our junior golf program or any other program for several years. The age range is 12 - 18 or kids that have prior approval from Tom.
In this program we will concentrate on the finer points of the golf game. We will teach the proper practice routines and what to look for while they are practicing. On course we will teach them how to manage their golf game, club selections, and the things dealing with course management. We will also delve into detailing the art of competition. Competing in tournaments has a totally different feel than an afternoon round with friends. We will set up opportunities for competition in class an with other courses. This year we have teamed up with Lochland, Riverside, and Southern Hills for two team matches versus the other clubs. More details on this will be posted on this web page at a later date. We are very excited about this and wish to thank Home Federal Bank for their sponsorship.
The program will meet on Thursday mornings at 8:00 in June for lessons followed by competition each afternoon. In July we will hold the afternoon competitions only, no classes. As always students in the advanced classes are always welcome to stop in and have Pat or myself help them with their golf game. The cost of the program is $75.00 with the student being able to play for $4.00 anytime they come out. Rounds of golf played on lesson days are included in the registration fee.
